Hi, I am 32 years old and live in NC where I was born and raised. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I am a Christian and believe my faith in God permeates every area of my life. I feel blessed by the gift of motherhood and believe this is the most important work the Lord has given me in this season of life. Besides being a mother, I am also passionate about my career in nursing. I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and prior to my 2nd child being born, I was working part-time in a pediatric primary care practice. I am currently staying at home full time to allow myself more time to adjust to having two children with a chronic illness, but I do plan to return to work in the future. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill for nursing, worked in the UNC Children’s Hospital for 3 years before returning to graduate school to receive my Masters in Nursing. I am an outgoing person, love adventure, traveling, crafting, being outdoors, cooking, and I am an avid sports fan (especially my alma mater, the UNC Tarheels)!
This is my best friend, my rock, my greatest support, and the one by my side helping me raise the two little people in our lives. He is such a wonderful father to our girls and I adore the way he embraces fatherhood. He enjoys hiking, adventure, sports, designing and building things. Nathan attended NC State for undergrad, where he received his degree in mechanical engineering and currently works as a business manager. He also attended UNC-Chapel Hill for graduate school where he received his MBA. Unfortunately (wink, wink), he has maintained his allegiance to NC State and is a die hard fan, which continues to make us a house divided during sports season. I am so thankful for his hard work ethic and sacrifice to provide for our family.
This girl is such a happy and loving child. She brings a smile to everyone she meets. She is extremely caring and thoughtful, nurturing, spirited, exuberant, talkative, imaginative, funny, independent, strong willed, and determined. She loves baby dolls, princesses, ballet, loving on her sister, and anything pink and girly. She also plays T-ball, soccer, swims, and wants to learn to play the violin. She is extremely social and loves being around people and trying new activities. She says she wants to be a mommy and a nurse when she grows up.
This sweet baby is bringing so much joy to our lives. She smiles all the time and loves to be around people. She is the most affectionate, nurturing baby already. She loves to rock her baby dolls, give hugs, kisses, and pats on the back. She loves to be on the move, have space to explore, and wants to do everything her sister does. We love watching her grow and and are excited to see her do more and more new things every day!
